From now on if you come to any concerts or large-scale evening events at AsiaWorld-Expo, you can take a non-stop direct bus from Tsim Sha Tsui (HK$22 per trip) or Tai Wai MTR Station (HK$26.2 per trip). This convenient point-to-point bus generally takes only around half an hour to AsiaWorld-Expo.

These express bus routes from Kowloon and the New Territories add to the special HK$48 return fare offered on the Airport Express Line from Hong Kong Station direct to AsiaWorld-Expo on event days.

Annual Lions Forum attracted by business and leisure facilities

More than 6,000 of Lions club members gathered at AsiaWorld-Expo for its four-day annual event, the 47th Orient & Southeast Asian Lions Forum (OSEAL), from 4 to 7 December.

AsiaWorld-Expo was the natural choice for the international organisation, not only because of the venue’s size and facilities, but also due to the convenience of travel for its regional visitors and the wide array of leisure activities close by.

These include the exceptional shopping and dining facilities at the SkyPlaza complex, the SkyCity Nine Eagles Golf Course, the Hong Kong Disneyland and the scenic Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car to the Big Buddha.

As well as a packed schedule of smaller meetings, AsiaWorld-Expo hosted a series of major ceremonial and gala events, including the Lions' impressive opening and closing ceremonies and the renowned International President Banquet.
