Facilities Management Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support and leading a team covering Utility and Audio/Visual service
  • Provide technical advice for contingency when dealing with engineering matter or emergency breakdowns
  • Conduct regular functional check and review methodology as well as resource allocation to minimize cost of work
  • Monitor daily operation and maintenance for Utility, Audio/Visual installations and ELV installations, etc. as assigned by senior and ensure workmanship meet the company’s standard
  • In charge of emergency calls for Utility and Audio/Visual system failure
  • Coordinating of health & safety matters
  • Reviewing and maintaining service reports and agreements and manage outsource contractor and vendors.
  • Perform any ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher education in Digital Music and Media Programme, Audio Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of event support and maintenance experience for Utility and Audio/Visual service in exhibition industry; and at least 5 years’ experience in fitting out work and ELV system
  • Holding electrical license, A or above is preferred
  • Knowledge of the engineering design / practice on facilities management and event technical support related to event / exhibition
  • A good team player with mature personality, well-organized, independent and responsible
  • Have strong leadership skills and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus
  • Shift duties including overnight is required subject to business needs
