Building on the success of recent months, AsiaWorld-Expo is charging into the month of May with yet more one-of-a-kind events, including must-see performances by some of the world's top musical talent.
In the first quarter of 2008 alone, its AsiaWorld-Arena welcomed a dazzling line-up of artists for sell-out performances, including Aaron Kwok, Bjork, Placido Domingo, Maroon 5, The Backstreet Boys, Santana and My Chemical Romance. This incredible success is powerful confirmation that AsiaWorld-Arena's state-of-the-art facilities make it the ultimate venue in Asia for every kind of entertainment and special events.
In the coming months there are lots more reasons to head for AsiaWorld-Arena, with yet more stunning performances set to wow audiences of all ages. On 4 May 2008, Commercial Radio Hong Kong will hold the first in a series of concerts for its 903id club. Featuring superstars Eason Chan, Khalil Fong, Kay Tse and EO2, "903id club Music Is Live 2008" is an event that Canto pop fans cannot afford to miss!
On 9 May 2008, Kenny G returns to Hong Kong on his "Rhythm and Romance Live In Hong Kong" Tour. In addition to his familiar jazzy tunes, this legendary saxophonist will also add Latino flavours such as Samba, Salsa, Tango and even Bossa Nova to create a night packed with hot and sexy rhythms.
Following hot on the heels of this stellar performance, Sir Elton John and his band will perform live in Hong Kong as part of the "Rocket Man Tour - Live In Hong Kong" on 20 May 2008. Together with his long-time band, Sir Elton is set to bring the house down with a string of hits that have made him one of the best-selling artists of all time.
On 24 May 2008, Japan's chart-topping boy band L'Arc-en-Ciel makes its debut performance in Hong Kong as part of its monster tour of "L'Arc-en-Ciel Tour 2008 L'7 ~ Trans Asia Via Paris Live In Hong Kong". It promises to be a night of screaming fans and non-stop music when these Japanese heart throbs take to the stage!
