AsiaWorld-Expo is delighted to fully support and play host to the “River of Wisdom – Animated Version of the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival” Exhibition

Enhanced new transportation links better help the public to view this newly digitized

AsiaWorld-Expo, Asia’s leading exhibition, convention and events venue, is pleased to partner with the Hong Kong SAR Government and fully support the public exhibition of the famous and much-acclaimed “Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival” digital scroll from 9-29 November 2010. The scroll is currently on display in the China Pavilion of the World Expo Shanghai 2010.

This one-of-a-kind artwork is a digitized, enlarged version of the original Sung Dynasty scroll created in the 12th Century by Sung artist Chang Tse-duan. By bringing the scroll to life, this giant digital exhibition enables people of all ages to get closer to one of China’s foremost national treasures in Hong Kong.

"Having checked with exhibition venues in Hong Kong, we found that AsiaWorld-Expo could meet the requirements in height and length imposed by the screen as well as provide a show period of three weeks, thus making it a suitable venue for holding this exhibition," said Mrs. Betty Fung Ching Suk-yee, Director of Leisure and Cultural Services. "It is indeed a rare opportunity to have the star exhibit of the China Pavilion displayed in Hong Kong. I urge the public to grab this not-to-be-missed opportunity to purchase tickets and support the exhibition. I am sure the exhibition will receive overwhelming response from the Hong Kong people."

Mr. Allen Ha, Chief Executive Officer, AsiaWorld-Expo Management Limited remarked, “It is a great honour for AsiaWorld-Expo to be the venue partner. We fully support the display of this national grandeur in Hong Kong. This landmark exhibition is also one of the wonderful features to mark our 5th Anniversary.”
