Animal Caring Child Ambassadors
Happy Farm@AsiaWorld-Expo is much more than a great day out, it’s also an opportunity for children to show how much they care. As part of its Happy Farm celebrations, AsiaWorld-Expo will sponsor four goats to be donated to an impoverished family in China - and the children of Hong Kong are invited to name one of them! For this heart-warming contest, AsiaWorld-Expo is proudly working in partnership with international charity Heifer to recruit 200 Animal Caring Child Ambassadors.

Children between 6 and 12 years of age can enter the Happy Farm Goat-Naming Contest for a chance to become one of the 200 lucky ambassadors. The contest, which will be judged by AsiaWorld-Expo and Heifer, will assess entries for their creativity, fun, and their ability to reflect the contest’s animal-loving theme.

Entry is available online at www.asiaworld-expo.com/happyfarm from 6 - 20 July 2010, and the results will be announced on 22 July 2010. The 200 entrants who are judged to have suggested the best names will be invited to participate in the Happy Farm@AsiaWorld-Expo Opening Ceremony cum Animal Caring Child Ambassadors Pledge Ceremony on 30 July 2010.

The three children deemed to have the best entries will be named champions and will each name one of the three goats being sponsored by AsiaWorld-Expo. He or she will also work with local artist and Animal Caring Ambassador, Janice to write a greeting card which will be sent to to the rural family together with the donated goats.
