Event Details The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (Hong Kong Section) Half Marathon 2026 will take place on the Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge—the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge-tunnel system. The event has been awarded the World Athletics Platinum Label Road Race status, highlighting its international prestige and professional standard. The Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates (HKAAA) aspires to meet runners annually through this highly iconic major sporting event. This year’s race will be held on 15 November 2026. The participant quota will be expanded to 10,000, and a new 10km race category will be introduced, allowing more runners to take part and experience the event. HKAAA will invite elite runners from across the world to compete in Hong Kong alongside local athletes in pursuit of top performances. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge spans 55 kilometers, connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao, and serves as a key artery within the Greater Bay Area. It significantly reduces travel time between the three regions and enhances regional connectivity. Built across the Lingdingyang channel in the Pearl River Estuary, the bridge provides a spectacular backdrop for the race.
