Chef de Partie

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the food preparation and ensure consistent high-quality standard in food production
  • Ensure food quality and quantity are met standards upon receiving merchandise
  • Assist Sous Chef in menu planning, food promotions and cost control, and act as back up in charge during his/her absence
  • Responsible for scheduling the duty roster for the kitchen associates
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene
  • Assist in any ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements:
  • F.5 or above with equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Minimum 8 years solid experience Western Cuisine with at least 2 years in similar position
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and process
  • Strong Knowledge of food health, safety, and hygiene compliance
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good team player, self-starter with can do attitude, and able to work independent
