Demi Chef (Pastry)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for cakes, pastries and desserts preparation featured in the menu efficiently
  • Maintain pastry ingredients inventory control, quality check upon receiving, correct storage standards and report out of stock
  • Deliver and replenish pastries products as required
  • Ensures workstation, cold rooms and equipment hygiene standards are met
  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in the kitchen operations
  • Assist in any ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements:
  • F. 3 or above
  • Minimum 10-12 years of work experience in F&B industry
  • Good knowledge of different types of cakes, pastries, and desserts decorating
  • Proven experience in serving buffet, gala dinner and large banquets
  • Hard-working and good communication skills
